I have never before had a genre grab me by the bullhorns and scream "WRITE ME DAMMIT."  Well, genre, if you would give me a story to go along with that demand, maybe you'd get results.

Damn, vague story bunnies.

Last night I managed to finish chapter six in the WS script.  This brings the total number of pages, thus far, to 162. Oh. My. Damn.  Biting off  more than I can reasonably chew has always been a strong point of mine, but this I liken to stuffing an entire whopper (the sandwich) into my mouth at once.  I am not giving up, but I am a little loopy over the prospect.

The hell with it, though, I'm a fat kid. I can take it.

I keep getting pseudo-ideas for Ficathon, which I still haven't signed up for since I'm not sure if I'll actually be able to write anything. The plot bunnies have abandoned me, I fear.  Maybe I should get some carrots. Or strawberries.

So, onto chapter seven of WS, and continuing to the write fanfics which I keep promising and never actually delivering.  Now that I have all my art commissions out of the way, I can focus on these sans guilt.  Which is rather sad, as I love doing commissions, but I wasn't giving either thing the attention it deserves and thus cutting one out is only to for the good of the other. ... In actual English, that means I won't be taking commissions for awhile. Not, at least, until I get myself back up-to-speed on the art front.  There was a day, believe it or not, when I could shoot out an entire piece in a few hours.  Getting back to that speed is my new goal.

I love lists. If you're on my F-list, you have come to know this.  Or maybe you don't. But I do.

Long lists, short lists, red lists, blue lists... Lists of all shapes, sizes, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. This is Listography.  See me squee.

Stop judging me.

Issues that revolve around ‘what’s up with Mom?’ are on top of the stack for many of you. Somehow or other the maternal imprint is showing up in all of your relationships. If on some symbolic level you’ve wound up living with a facsimile of your mother, it’s time to look at why you put them there and what you’re getting out of it. In some instances, many of you are looking at your care giving trips; and for others, ‘kids’ are a big deal right now. Underneath it all, all this comes down to is you needing to review the ways in which you dispense and receive nurturance.

P.S. LJ needs icon stats. Badly.

So to continue my trend of spamming the hell out of LJ, I decided to make a list of all the fanfiction I'm supposedly working on and their status'. Here goes.

Sailor Moon

Witchy Woman
Strong outline half done--may actually be written.

Lots of ideas going no where fast.

Yield for Nothing
Is the BigBang even going anymore, anyway?

This Sweet Madness
Has an old woman to off.

SMM: May I Never

Gundam Wing

Work in Progress / Busy People Verse
Needs a massive rewrite and an actual outline.

Likelihood of any of this ever being done? Negative nine thousand. Oh well, I'll try anyway.

Needing a little bit of research help concerning modern day British aristocracy.  I've done some on my own, but I'm a wee bit confused and if there's anyone on my friends list who wouldn't mind answering a few questions I'd be much obliged.  It isn't anything massively important, just for an in-the-works fic.

WRITING MEME: DAY SIX-- Where are you most comfortable writing? At what time of day? Computer or good ol' pen and paper?

Physically comfortable in a chair at a desk or table.  Mentally comfortable anywhere that isn't my job.  XD  Unfortunately, the hours I'm at work are the hours that I'm usually most productive, creativity-wise. I end up coming up with all these great, wonderful ideas that are totally gone by the time I'm home and no amount of "Quick, jot down the basic idea and come back later!" helps.

And I prefer to write on the computer for two reasons: A) I type faster, B) I can read what I type.

So this weekend, I hope to accomplish at least three of these things:

Finish Ch. 6 of WS
Pencil a page
Finish a commission
Re-style LJ layout (low priory, but damn this needs to be done)
Get that package in the mail
Get another three pages written on Ficswap
Finish another section of the Culture Guide
Work on polishing up the WS website
WS Website advert graphics
Finish Twitlight Chibi-comic
WS fashion guide

Pretty sure I'm not going to be doing ficathon this year, either.  I just can't seem to work up any inspiration for it. :/  I had something started, but it's just... eh. I may post it up later for laughs. XD

I try not to, but I will admit that it has happened.  Usually, it does so when I find out that a person listens to specific kinds of rap or country--the former being the sort which glorifies a gangster "lifestyle," the latter pertaining to country songs that encourage bigotry, with or without religious themes.  There are probably other styles of music that have these sorts of themes as well, but I find that it's very alarmingly common amongst these two. In most cases, when I find out a person does like something like this, I become uneasy around them or cut all ties, depending on the situation.
